Valhalla

Valhalla knitting pattern by Cassie Castillo. Pullover sweater with entrelac.
Valhalla knitting pattern by Cassie Castillo. Pullover sweater with entrelac.
Picture
Picture
Valhalla is boatneck pullover featuring an Entrelac yoke and bands. Worked in the round from the top down with a slightly open fabric to offset the weight of the Entrelac panels. To escape the monotony of rectangular Entrelac scarves and shawls, I designed a modern fitted sweater that uses those addicting little rectangles.  The Stockinette stitch body is knit at a loose gauge. The entrelac panels are dense and heavy, and I didn’t want the whole sweater to feel weighted down. You can change to a worsted weight yarn if you prefer a denser fabric.
