Published in Twist Collective Spring/Summer 2014, Nopales is a 3/4 sleeve cardigan worked in a simple lace pattern.
The body of this open front cardigan is worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided for front and back. The sleeves, which feature reverse Stockinette stitch welts on the cuffs, are knit separately and sewn in place. The wide collar is worked from stitches picked up along the front and neck edges, and is shaped with reverse Stockinette stitch welts. The all-over lace pattern is given in both chart form and row-by-row instructions. Nopales can be purchased from the Twist Collective website.
