Endira Necklace

Endira Necklace is a lace collar style necklace worked in a linen laceweight yarn with silver beads.  Two beading techniques are used, so if you've never tried beaded knitting this is a good introductory project!  Endira only uses about 50 yards of laceweight yarn and makes a great stash-buster project for those odds and ends leftover after making a lace shawl.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
18" inner neck circumference, buttoned, and 1½ " high at point of lace.

YARN
Louet 14/2 Euroflax Linen (100% wet-spun linen; 580 yd [530 m]/100 g): #55 willow, 1 cone. (Project uses about 50 yards)

NEEDLES
Size 2 (2.75 mm): straight and 2 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS REQUIRED
304 size 6˚ metallic silver Czechglass seed beads
one ⅝ " button
tapestry needle
beading needle to thread beads onto yarn
sewing needle and matching thread.

GAUGE
21 sts and 32 rows = 4" in St st; 12 sts of Endira chart = 3" wide at CO edge.
