Sakura Tee

Originally published in Interweave Knits Summer 2012, Sakura Tee can now be purchased as a single pattern from the Interweave Store.
Sakura Tee is a short sleeve pullover featuring a lace floral motif. The flower is worked from the center outwards. The front and back yokes are worked in an eyelet mesh. The edges are finished with k2, p2 rib. This design is meant to be worn with 2-4” positive ease.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
35 (38½ , 43, 46½ , 53)" bust circumference.
YARN:
Cascade Yarns Pima Silk (85% pima cotton, 15% silk; 109 yd [100 m]/50 g): #0317 periwinkle, 7 (8, 9, 10, 12) balls.
NEEDLES:
US 3/3.25 mm: 16" and 24" circular
US 4/3.5 mm: 24" and 36" circular and set of double-pointed needles
NOTIONS REQUIRED:
Markers
waste yarn
tapestry needle
GAUGE:
16 sts and 24 rows = 4" in St st on larger needle; 16 sts and 24 rows = 4" in Lace Mesh pattern on smaller needle.
